Honeybee Swarm Trap

This baited trap* attracts honeybee swarms into the box in order to invite bees into a location where they are welcomed. This method will prevent bees from swarming into all those unwanted location like walls, eves, compost bins, water meters etc. 

When the trap is full, it is best that it stays in its place for about 2-4 weeks so that the bees don't abscond. After this time frame, it is very easy to relocate the hive or transfer the bees into a full size hive box. 

Made from Plywood. Includes 5 frames and a small slice of used comb and a dash of lemongrass essential oil(feel free to re-apply once per month but not mandatory). Air vent in rear of hive.
